The game's major points are a bunch of missions in a city ravaged by a Large Hadron Collider which brought scientific disturbances and zombies into the world. Blah, blah… mercenaries and treasure hunters start showing up to obtain some booty and kill zombies. The plot of this game is really unimportant and all you get is a brief description on the startup screen and what you can piece together through the game’s mission locales. Missions in this game have several different variations from killing a bunch of zombies, guarding another car while collecting artifacts and just plain old racing. The sad part is the game focuses a ton on the racing part and not enough on these other fun game modes, so expect to be racing a lot if you play this title.

The controls are very basic and the game allows you to upgrade and add weapons to your cars that you buy or collect over the course of the game. In order to make extra money, you may have to go back and do green colored collection and hunting missions. This, I guess, adds more gameplay time, but I was pretty much fine money wise by just placing high in missions and going through all the main quest missions. The world map also offers a variety of stuff to collect and blow up to get money but overall feels very empty beyond a few cars driving around.
The graphics of the game are pretty but look a bit dated. This, however, can slightly be overlooked due to it being a PSN title. The zombies are very repetitive and often in short supply for a zombie game - almost as if they were an afterthought. They hold onto your car and beat the roof or try to break into your car, but other than that offer little to no threat to you. They are actually pretty much just little poppers filled with nitro which is used to power gadgets and boosts. I was disappointed there were not any weapons ala Twisted Metal at all in this game. I think that would have truly made the game more interesting because most of the destruction modes are laughably easy to get gold in. I only noticed a handful of audio tracks during my playthrough of the game and all of them were forgettable. (One sounded mysteriously like a Michael Jackson song sampled for only a few seconds on repeat)
Overall, there are really better racing games out there for PS3 and PSN. If you want destruction derby style gameplay, I would wait for the next Twisted Metal. If you are a diehard zombie fan or just want a goofy little title to play in your spare time however, this may be the right game for you in the end.

Graphics |
7.5 |
Dated and repetitive although there is a nice variety of cars and the graphics do not look horrible. |
|
Audio |
6.5 |
Bad voice acting and repetitive music. Sound effects can be fun sometimes though. |
|
Single Player |
7.5 |
Fast and forgettable gameplay with repetitive races with some fun destruction missions mixed in. |
|
Multiplayer |
5.0 |
Annoying and clouded with boxes even on my rather large television. Split screen only and only cooperative. No real Vs. mode although you can race your friend in one of the missions. During which many of UI essentials are missing like place markers over the other cars. Un-fun in general to play with friends. |

Replay |
6.5 |
Lots of crap to collect if you enjoy that sort of thing. You can infinitely replay green missions. The game is rather short so it should be easy to replay. |

Overall |
6.5 |
Fun distraction, but overall not really that fun of a game. Look elsewhere for destruction derby action. Play this if you would like a plain racing game with a few extra mission modes sprinkled with zombies. |
