Capcom, one of the world’s leading developers and publishers of video games, announced earlier this December 2011 that they will be releasing a Capcom Digital Collection exclusively for the Xbox 360 platform, the leading video game and entertainment system from American software giant Microsoft.  The Capcom Digital Collection boasts of eight popular games previously available in Xbox LIVE Arcade for Xbox 360.  The titles included in this mega collection are Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Final Fight: Double Impact, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, and a whole lot more.

All eight games are available in a single collection for the first time, and all the individual features of these games are fully preserved, such as online functionality and achievements, as seen on their download versions.  The games included in the Capcom Digital Collection are as follows:

1942: Joint Strike

This game is an enjoyable and challenging combination of classic shooter gameplay enriched by 3D HD graphics.  In 1942: Joint Strike, you will be required to maneuver World War II-era aircraft and take down hordes of enemy fire and planes.  You will also need to dodge explosions and incoming missiles while taking on gargantuan bosses from the opposing side.  There are plenty of new weapons and power-ups in your Joint Strike arsenal, which will lead to both fun and victory.

Bionic Commando Rearmed 2

This game will have you follow Nathan “Rad” Spencer, who is equipped with a bionic arm, as he swings back into action to stop General Sabio and his plans to launch a missile strike that will result to thousands of deaths and devastation.  Traverse the lush and deadly new landscapes of Papagaya in this retro yet still enjoyable side-scrolling game in the action genre.

Final Fight Double Impact

Follow the adrenaline-charged adventures of Cody, Guy, and Haggar across Metro city and save a young girl from the clutches of Mad Gear.

Flock!

Prepare to get down and dirty with the livestock and your cornfields!  You will be using a UFO tractor beam that will herd and protect livestock back to the mothership through plenty of sandbox puzzles filled with booby traps and dangerous turns.

RocketMen: Axis of Evil (including RocketMen: It Came From Uranus expansion)

In this game, you will join the RocketMen and the Alliance of Free Planets in their campaign to free the solar system from the evil clutches of the Legion of Terra in this highly enjoyable RPG shooter.  You can choose to save the entire galaxy by yourself or team up with three other players over Xbox LIVE or on the same console.

Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix

The worlds of Street Fighter and Darkstalkers collide in order to bring you this highly addictive puzzle game, which includes a couple of new game modes and a new and improved game balance.

Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix

Updated with 1080p HD graphics, you can now enjoy one of the most popular games of the early 1990’s in your Xbox.

Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3

This extremely popular arcade shooting game is back with a vengeance and improved graphics on the Xbox platform.
