Top Five Games That Need Some Zombies Injected into Them

With the rumored upcoming DLC for LA Noire involving zombies it seems every game is jumping on the reanimated bandwagon. Rockstar especially has loved to tap into this market lately but so have other games and franchises. The following are five titles that could use a boost of the walking dead for a twist on the usual formula. None of these titles have any sort of planned zombie mode, this is just one person making a case for a twist on the normal.

Halo Reach Zombies

Halo Reach

So the flood were a big part of Halo titles later in the timeline but were absent from Reach's story understandably. So why no flood action in multiplayer? It would have been an interesting mode that differed from the normal state of affairs in Halo matchmaking. Considering the nature of the flood, a survival mode in tight quarters would have made a great DLC. How long could you and your friends survive against the endless flood or who would be the last alive?

Dynasty Warriors

Dynasty Warriors

This is a series that cries out for an entry with zombies. Onechanbara sort of addressed this with a hack and slash title but that game is pretty awful. What Dynasty Warriors could use is an entry that plays like all of the other titles. Players need to not only slaughter the undead armies but take command points. Keep the 'dynasty warriors' like Lu Bu and shift the story to one of horror. Koei has shown they can adapt their formula to franchises like Gundam and Fist of the North Star, so why not zombies?

Viva Pinata

Viva Pinata

This cute and cuddly franchise already has some bad pinatas to tangle with. An infestation of zombie pinata variants would be fantastic though. These pinatas would try to eat any pinata no matter the size. You, the player, armed with a shovel can defend your precious living Pinatas from these undead nightmares. A great title for this would be Left 4 Pinata, Rare needs to do this one.

WWE

WWE Smackdown

Wrestling is a sport that is considered the craziest because of the storyline around it. A game revolving around defending the wrestling ring from swarms of zombies sounds fantastic. Smackdown has had some of the more complicated, nonsense plots in gaming like wrestlers randomly carjacking you for the thrill of it. Zombie takeover would be a regular day in the WWE and it would be very entertaining to see wrestlers slamming the undead into millions of pieces.

Animal Crossing

Animal Crossing

Tom Nook controls his town with high rents and forced property owning. Zombies would bring a twist to the formula. You would not only try to pay off your rent and be a friendly stylish guy but also survive. By night if you venture out into the town, it's a battle to survive. An even better take on this would be taking the approach of not being able to kill the undead just fend them off like in Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. Say you barricade yourself in your house and survive the night only to find out the pelican next door didn't move out but was taken.
