Whether you like it or not, the Gears of War franchise is one of the most well-received and popular series on the market today. Exclusive to the Xbox 360, Microsoft loves touting this as one of their flagship titles. Ironically, when Cliff Bleszinski requested the addition of Master Chief in Gears of War 3 he was politely declined. It's sad to say that Jazz Jackrabbit has the same chance of making it into such a game. Rabbits and easter eggs aside, Gears 3 is going to be a big seller come September: but do we even care?
Austin Cox: To me it's just another game release. I'm happy for the fans who have been waiting for it, but Gears never appealed to me. I played the first one and shelved it after a couple hours. (playing: Just Cause 2 - replay)
AJ Lysiak: I'm extremely excited for Gears of War 3. The multiplayer beta has confirmed that the gameplay has improved and I'm equally excited to find out how the trilogy ends. (Playing Man Vs Wild, Black Ops and Nin2-Jump!)
Samuel Evans: I'm not the biggest Gears guy but I do love horde mode. The upcoming Beast mode sounds awesome and I await that. (Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Portal 2)
Carnage: I've never been into the Gears series. I tried the first one but just wasn't into it. I didn't like the gameplay, controls, or the story. I skipped the second one and I recently tried the Gears Of War 3 beta since it came free with Bulletstorm. I was bored within 5 minutes. I tried to like it, I really did. I just couldn't get into it. Its slow, boring, and just not worth my time. Maybe I'm just not into it because I just suck at playing it.
Stephen Byzek: The updates they've done to the MP are nice. I love the new weapons. The pace is a bit faster than GoW2, but still chunky. (Bakugan, The Legend of Zelda:Phantom Hourglass)
Nick Gearhart: I'm not too excited for Gears 3, never been a fan of the series. (Portal 2, Spectral Souls)
Sarah McMillen: I've never played any Gears of War so won't be playing the new one either. Not that interested. (Star Ocean: The Last Hope and Persona)
